How to Cook Spicy and Sour Thai Vermicelli

  • Minced garlic, minced red onion

  • 500g fresh vermicelli
  • Meat and seafood of all kinds such as: shrimp, squid, clams, beef
  • Accompanying vegetables such as: bamboo, bananas, water spinach, … as you like
  • 1 pack of Tom Yum Thai hot pot sauce
  • Common seasoning: cooking oil, salt, sugar, fish sauce, seasoning, satay, tamarind juice


Step 1: Stir-fry Ingredients

Put 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in the pot and then add minced garlic, minced shallot and galangal (peeled, chopped) and stir-fry until fragrant.

Step 2: Saute Tomato

When the garlic and onions are fragrant, add the chopped tomatoes and saute until soft, add 3 tablespoons of satay to create a beautiful color.

Step 3 Cook the Broth

Pour 1 liter of boiling water into the pot, when the water boils, add the straw mushrooms to cook, then add the entire package of Thai Tom Yum hot pot sauce. Next, you put tamarind on a rail and then dip it into the pot, use a spoon to crush the tamarind to release all the sour substance and taste it to your mouth to finish the broth.

Step 4 Steamed Seafood

Put the seafood on the steamer, put a few slices of ginger until fragrant, then cover the lid and steam for 10 minutes until cooked.

Finished Product
