How to Make Delicious Banana Ice Cream at Home

  • 3-4 ripe bananas, thinly sliced
  • 200ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 100g sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (vanilla essential oil or vanilla extract from vanilla beans)
  • A pinch of salt


  1. Prepare the ingredients, choose ripe and fragrant bananas.
  2. Mix sugar and salt into the sweetened condensed milk, whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Add heavy cream into the mixture of sweetened condensed milk and sugar, whisk at high speed until the mixture thickens and has a medium firm texture.
  4. Add vanilla extract or vanilla extract from vanilla beans into the ice cream mixture, whisk well.
  5. Mix the thinly sliced bananas into the ice cream mixture, stir evenly.
  6. Pour the banana ice cream mixture into an ice cream mold and seal it tightly.
  7. Place it in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator, freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until the ice cream is fully frozen.
